Mono Vault SpecsMono Vaults are constructed of polyethylene with nominal 1/4" wall thickness. All Mono Vaults are equipped with a threaded and gasketed wide mouth lid to protect the contents from the elements. A Burial Shield (included) fits over the lid assembly to protect it from physical damage. The Burial Shield can be secured in place with the optional Lock Strap which accommodates standard padlocks with up to a 1/4" shackle. In burial applications, the Burial Shield directs moisture away from the gasketed lid, keeps the lid area clean, protects the lid from soils and foot traffic, and protects the lid from excavation damage in recovery.

note 1: Fits most carbines with 16" barrels and collabsible stocks... measure your gun
How to read this chart...
Please note that all dimensions and fits are approximate. It is not unusual for the diameters to vary from the nominal dimension by as much as 1/4" and the lengths by as much as 1/2". Weights are approximate. As with all polymer products, dimensions will fluctuate with temperature. Due to the nature of the molding process, some distortion is normal.
Gun capacity info is provided as a guideline only. Measure your gun. A factory Remington 700 and Remington 870 were used to determine barrel length fit (the 26" 870 shotgun, measuring 25.5" actual, did fit in the 248s tested if placed at an angle). Guns will vary in dimensions. As an example, the 130s has been checked with ARs with and without scopes, and pistol grip folding AKs, Mini-14, 10-22, and pump shotgun. They fit. However, there are certainly examples out there of each of these firearms that would not fit. A 16" mini-14 with a threaded barrel and flash supressor may be too long while a welded flash suppressor (frequently on shorter barrels for overall 16" length) may fit. Likewise, a folding stock on a goose gun would not fit the 130s (don't know why one would put a folder on a goose gun) while a folder on a handy defensive shotgun will.
